Information Hub: Questions and Answers
The self-help book club is committed to the personal growth and development of adults living in Indiana.
Each group session is facilitated by a licensed counselor and focused on thoroughly exploring and discussing an entire self-help book, allowing members to gain deep insights and practical strategies.
Sessions are scheduled for TWO HOURS, providing ample time for engaging discussions, reflections, and shared experiences.
Our goal is to create a supportive environment where members can learn, connect, and apply the principles from each book to enhance their lives.
The supportive group video conversations enhance your emotional health and mental well-being.
You can sign up for as many group sessions as you’d like!
Payment is due prior to services rendered, UNLESS you have insurance.

What am I signing up for?
A group discussion centered around a designated self-help book.
Will other people be in the book discussion with me?
Yes, possibly! Feel free to reach out and ask ahead of time how many are planning to attend.
What if I just want a one-on-one therapy session?
These appointments are available on a case-by-case basis. We will discuss during your Initial assessment. All individual therapy sessions are guided by handouts, assessments, worksheets, and additional readings.
Why do I have to complete an Initial assessment prior to attending a group discussion?
Initial assessments will determine if a virtual group book club is the right fit for you and your needs. If necessary, we will provide referrals to other providers in your area.
I don’t have insurance, but I still want to participate.
Please see the Cash Only link at the top of the page. You will receive an individual invoice. Payment is due prior to services being rendered for all cash-paying clients.
What’s an “Add-On Assessment”?
These are assessments/questionnaires centered around your individual needs, and if you are interested in understanding your symptoms and diagnosis without engaging in additional mental health treatment. For example, if you experience anxiety, we will administer 1 or more questionnaires specifically designed to evaluate your anxiety and how it affects your daily functioning. Each assessment will include a detailed and in-depth analysis of your answers. Sessions during which we talk about your mental health diagnosis and subsequent questionnaires will be billed as an individual therapy session.
